I still want to hear from hippo he was the one with all the pressure on axeman who is clearly telling the truth...so I'm just curious as to why he had so many reservations believing him...

I was wrong, but i wouldn't change it. If we all just accepted everything people say without opposition then it'd be quite an easy game for the mafia. As it is, i questioned him about it because nobody else did. He didn't actually have to react by quoting his pm, he could have just given a name like i did.

actually that's untrue if you read I was the first to question him right after he role claimed and I felt he answered my questions fairly

But at this point...we'll see what happens...

Fair enough, maybe i just am not very trusting of people in these games? I wasn't satisfied with the roleclaim in the slightest initially, because it struck me as the actions of a desperate man. Like i said, i was wrong, but the players searching the most strongly for the mafia are always the ones who make the most mistakes aren't they? Our moves aren't calculated.

You know my role and what benefit i've been to the town. If i was lying about any of it, then someone else would have counterclaimed by now. So i'm not sure what you're getting at?

Just wondering, why are you so sure someone would counterclaim for YOUR roleclaim, and not axeman's..

i was just thinking, hey, if theres another cop, they'll say something..

Because i claimed specifically, using a character name. I'm not saying somebody would've counterclaimed roleblocker, although i imagine that if i was taking the credit for the blocks on SVH, pride might make someone do so, i'm saying they'd have counterclaimed captain.

Another cop counterclaiming wouldn't have made sense with the Axeman reveal. There could easily be two, for all anyone knows. But if somebody saw their own character name being claimed, rather than just the same role, then they'd definitely know that not to be the case. That's why i suspected the reveal, when he didn't seem to want to use that name. But like i said, i was wrong.

ok i'm here now, the joys of playing a global game over 3 continents and many time zones eh !!

Wow you guys have managed to push Axe's buttons big time. My ruling on the whole matter is that as he already knows that poor old Axe must be killed, the rules do unfortunately clearly state what you can and can't do.   :'(  Having been lynched myself after protesting my innocence i understand how frustrating the came can be so sorry mate i don't want to do it but i can't let this one slide.

I have decided that therefore the death of Axe will trigger the night phase, as it occurred before the 5 votes was reached, so those of you with night actions can now use them, plus you all have your suspisions so use this night to confirm or deny what you believe.

But for those doubters Happy Axeman is the cop and the character Whip. You have lost a powerful townie.

So once again you have 48 hours or till i recieve all the night actions from players.

After yesterday's disappointment you all wake up and head to the control deck. You notice after 10 mins that Stevenryals is missing so you all go looking for him. Unfortunately you discover his body crushed under a container in the hold. You are shocked especially so when you discover that Stevenryals is in fact Gus and the doctor.

After looking like an easy town win things have changed, thoughtful and pensive you head off to your duties and Day Four now begins.

There are 7 of you left so you only need 4 votes to cause a lynch, the deadline for today is midnight tuesday UK time

hey hang on a bit here ..

Hippo can you confirm if you blocked my role last night?  surely as the main suspect as mafia you would have blocked me .. and since a townie died it has to be mafia and clearly I'm not mafia ..

my role is "Ten" - I'm a long lost friend of "Six" and just a regular townie.  Looking back to yesterday yes we should have voted me off and not lost a key role in Axeman - we could have had this wrapped up today.

also I think the mafia member is in the UK  .. TCH appears to check the posts regularly and since nothing happened yesterday Aussie and US time the fateful shot to stevenryalls must have came night time UK.  Like yesterday I'm not shooting a vote off just for the sake of voting.  I've only been involved in 1 lynching and that was day 1.  Day 1 - Townie, Day 2 - Mafia, Day 3 didn't register a vote.  I think all the suspicion on me is still back to ludicrous claims from TP trying to stir me up early day 1 and people jsut keep running with it.
