swinging like somethings in your avatar ?? Very distracting but strangely hypnotic.

Miasg made a statement about him and amadjin being on the same side in the last game but infact they were on different sides. So it's a question of whether he's let something slip about this game when writing eg him and amadjin are on the same side or it was a genuine mistake.

Good to see Steve post jet lagged and all but to role cliam so early, but of course there's only one way to find out if true, but the special townie could investigate ?? But no one has really had a go more accepted he was o/s and would post when he got home which he's done. Though now he's posted miasg should now unvote as it was his reason for voting.

time for bed here, i'll see what has developed in the morning

Its been 3 or 4 games now that i've not had any powers whatsoever..  I'm off work today so I'll try to keep up better.. but, to be honest, I've got to catch up on more here than can be said.  I've still got to wash off the disappointment of watching a lackluster city (5000 miles away) lose to a shite wigan, while forlan (a guy we didnt think was good enough to be in the prem) scores the winner...  anyway..  like I said.. it is a different tactic than usual, but I dont have 8 hours at work to check up on the game and post.  It will be afternoons and nights when I can post, and I just dont have the time (seeeing how I have to run 2 businesses, besides my full time job).

Now, thinking back at older games, hammer has a history of giving the 'new guy' a decent role.  I think this Skelatary guy (whoever he is, and however you spell it) could be a figure in this game (good or bad).  We need to keep an eye on him.

but honestly, i wouldnt be bothered to even worry about me..  because mafia will probably knock me off (not in that way) in the night phase, simply because they know I'm not one of them, but I think thier curiosity will get the best of them and they probably already think i'm a powerful townie..  :)   only time will tell...

I'll be out here in about 2 hours to check on some things, and after that I will only be posting sporatically..

still not sure who could possibly be evil... but my brilliance hopefully will prevail, and I will pick the right guy..

Vote Laserblue        becausee I've hung out with this one, he's a dodgy bloke, he says he's going to kill me!!!!!!.. hehehehehe...  :)

Right okay. Not entirely convinced about the miasg thing. It was basically just to get a reaction, which it didn't really. We're probably right, but it's not conclusive like i said before, obviously.

Though now he's posted miasg should now unvote as it was his reason for voting.

Just another reason that i'm suspicious of you. Why would you say that? It's not an important vote, he only has one, but it should now be removed? I hadn't even noticed anyone had voted for steve. But then i suppose, if you're working with someone, you pay more attention to how likely they are to be killed don't you?

but honestly, i wouldnt be bothered to even worry about me..  because mafia will probably knock me off (not in that way) in the night phase, simply because they know I'm not one of them, but I think thier curiosity will get the best of them and they probably already think i'm a powerful townie..  :)   only time will tell...

Your posts confuse me this game. Why are the mafia going to kill you tonight if you're not going to be posting much? Why do the mafia already think that you're a powerful townie? You've hardly posted anything that would suggest that. They take out the people who are a threat, and if you're not going to be posting, you're not that are you. Unless of course you're just trying to slip under the radar - if that's the case, it would have been far more effective to say <whoever> was suspicious, and vote for them, and then not post again in the day.

I think it's being overplayed that you can't post as much this game. It's irrelevant. It's what's in them that's the important bit. And everything you've said has been trying to convince people to forget about you. Which is VERY dodgy.

And trying to deflect attention you've said we should watch 'the new guy'. Hammer uses a random generator thing to distribute the roles, as i think he's stated in every game. So why should we keep an eye on him, and not you? Equal chance and all.

I'm going keep my eye and vote on you.

unvote miasg

I'm also suspicious of Steven. Don't know why, just something niggling in the back of my head. A gut instinct maybe?

It's very hard to say whether he's good or evil but it's swinging towards evil at the moment

i know im not involved in this one, but currie how come you find your guts at the back of your head

I'm shit this game, no powers, nothing, normal town.  I win when all the wolves and assholes are dead.
That's what everyone could say! It goes without saying, what, are we supposed to go "Um yeah, actually DO vote for me, because I'm mafia!". No, everyone's going to say the same thing as you did.

I like the way you've said "we" there when referring to what the mafia should say.

Hippo..  the reason I think that either the mafia will kill me, or I'll die quickly in the first rounds are as follows: 1) look what you've done, instantly you vote for me...  and I'm sure others will follow 2) for the same reason as you thinking I'm mafia, the mafia will think "oooh.. steven says he's a crap role, so he's trying to slip under the radar" just like you've said; so they'll probably melt me with a raygun or something weird just to see if I'm the big powerful townie

same logic as you voting for me (if you're a townie), it would make the mafia think the same thing about me being a good pro-town role...  you've actually proved my point..

(oh.. just messing with laserblue unvote laserblue)

anyway..  mafia, cult and protown roles (except for maybe masons) never ever come out on day one..  that's just how much this one means to me... like I've said, I wont be posting much, so if I get knocked out day one, no big loss for me... . actually, my luck, the DNS problem will get fixed the day after I'm killed, and I'll be forced to watch the game from afar...  whatever though, these games are mostly about guessing anyway in the first couple rounds..  I've made it easier for the town; and easier for the mafia too if you think about it..  I'm not going to investigate anyone, kill, slap, eat, rape, abduct, bully, protect or anything else in the night phase..    I'm not going to come with a great deal of information about another player, because chances are, the ones not posting much are the ones we want anyway,, but you can never tell...  so... have fun...    : )

happy hunting!!!!

Vote TCH
for acting like I'm in some kind of cahoots with him..  this is a game where, if you are a mason, you have a friend or two... other than that... EVERYONE IS SUSPECT...  you should know better now TCH.. (or thc as laser prefers it).   the only reason i can see trying to make friends in this game is to keep those people from voting from you..  I think you cant be innocent making moves like that..

Well, Amadjin, you know how I usually post 1000000 times, reading through each post carefully?  well, thats because Bellsouth Telecommunications has been paying me good money to sit at my desk and ..... uuuhh... well...  surf the internet.. answer a few phone calls.. .and play mafia games...  now that I cant access at work...  I have to do it on my own time, for free... and I dont have much of that "free time" stuff...  maybe I make it, maybe I dont... ??

statistically...  amadjin-3: (Happy Axeman, Evil Weasel, Tommy Catons Hair)   one of these 4 are guilty...

I think it's also interesting to see that TCH voted Amadjin, and Amadjin is the 2nd voter for TCH..  I'm thinking Amadjin is town, and TCH is SCUM!!!!!!
nto sure what all that means..  just wanted to try to give something back to the wonderful axeman community...

Just guessing though really...

I've read back over the past couple of pages and I think Tommy looks quite suspicious as he seems to be trying to pick on other people but without giving proper reasons.

Something a bit fishy about him.

Can we still do the old FOS malarky?

not really sure how i've come across as being in cahoots with you StevenR how have i done that ?

If i've picked on anyone Cman it's miasg but that's mainly fun to wind him up as we work in the same building and not from any basis of fact.

Bit i will unvote amadjin as he has done nothing since my vote to confirm any suspicions i had 2 days ago.

Hippo..  the reason I think that either the mafia will kill me, or I'll die quickly in the first rounds are as follows: 1) look what you've done, instantly you vote for me...  and I'm sure others will follow 2) for the same reason as you thinking I'm mafia, the mafia will think "oooh.. steven says he's a crap role, so he's trying to slip under the radar" just like you've said; so they'll probably melt me with a raygun or something weird just to see if I'm the big powerful townie

same logic as you voting for me (if you're a townie), it would make the mafia think the same thing about me being a good pro-town role...  you've actually proved my point..

That's nonsense. A member of the mafia might think you're a werewolf, or vice versa, but i can't see how they'd think you're a strong townie role. Surely they try and influence the game for the town. Saying 'forget about me, i'm pointless' would only benefit a mafia player. If you were the prince, then you won't have an actual effect. Because a few days down the line when you maybe had a few guilties, no one would believe you.

And i don't see how your lack of time is changing the way you're playing this one. I don't mean you have to spend hours reading and looking for connections or anything like you have done previously, but you've posted a few lengthy ish things today which have had pretty much nothing in. You could have put some actual pressure on somebody in that time, that maybe you cant follow up on, but someone like me or anyone else who wishes can continue it on for the benefit of the town.

anyway..  mafia, cult and protown roles (except for maybe masons) never ever come out on day one..  that's just how much this one means to me... like I've said, I wont be posting much, so if I get knocked out day one, no big loss for me... . actually, my luck, the DNS problem will get fixed the day after I'm killed, and I'll be forced to watch the game from afar...  whatever though, these games are mostly about guessing anyway in the first couple rounds..  I've made it easier for the town; and easier for the mafia too if you think about it..  I'm not going to investigate anyone, kill, slap, eat, rape, abduct, bully, protect or anything else in the night phase..    I'm not going to come with a great deal of information about another player, because chances are, the ones not posting much are the ones we want anyway,, but you can never tell...  so... have fun...    : )

This is what's confusing me about your game. You clearly have read what's happened so far, so this whole no time is not an excuse for current play. It's not a defense against dodgy looking posts either. I know you know how to play this, and this is what's leading me to think you're guilty. How does saying "i'm not going to come with a great deal of information" make it easier for the town exactly? Okay, you're not the power townie, but you could say "<whoever> looks dodgy, they said <whatever> and it didn't really sound like something a townie would say". Or just anything. Rather than being defeatist.

Like i said, i understand you have no time for long posts that go in to a great depth, but short posts with a point to them are essential for the town really. It's certainly not helping me, as a town member, that you're playing this way, because it's taking all of my focus away from everything else.

It doesn't help. I find him suspicious too, but that's not a reason at all.

hippo.. i honestly didnt read your whole post... because i couldnt be arsed...  to be honest..  looks like you're after me and that's fine and fun and all that... have fun trying to make long posts seem senseful and blah blah blah blah.....

simple fact hippo...  you say it's nonsense that a mafia member would think i'm a protown strong roll...  well... what's made you vote for me?  The fact that I've claimed on day one?  yes..  that's why...  it makes you think i'm lying..  same with the mafia.. they'll probably think i'm lying..  but seriously...  my only power in this game is my keyboard.. typing the word 'vote' followed by someones name..  that's it...  i'm a simple working class lad who's just trying to make enough money to pay for a meal down at the chippy. ... hehehehe..  chippy...

anyway hippo,... waste your time on me if you wish.. but the brain cells you're killing on trying to get me lynched could be better wasted with liquer or beer...  get your priorities straight boy!!!!!! : )

thanks for unvoting me miasg...  your a gentleman and a scholar...  or is it a scholarman's genitals.????  Ah I cant remember how it goes...

and now for a short interlude

Quote
"Charlie is a genius, right. He's made out of a million pieces of bubblegum, imagine that! In the summer of 1976 on the way home from an Alice Cooper concert, and he started to melt onto the pavement. It was too hot in L.A, and he melted like a pink bitch. Luckily though, there was Eric Phillips, a local crocodile who dabbled in black magic. He took pity on Charlie, and scraped him off the floor with a pair of fish slicers. He poured him into an antique soup ladel and boarded his magic carpet. Destination: Alaska!

Eric Phillips decided to refreeze Charlie, but in his cold-blooded reptilian haste, he refroze him into the shape of a hoover! Charlie wasn't phased though, he just zoomed about the place, sucking up inuits. The inuits didn't mind, they loved it inside Charlies pink tight warm belly-pouch, and they refused to come out! Charlie said "I'm cool with that!", and set fire to a posh hammer to make it official. The downside was that the inuits suffocated immediately, it was airtight in there. Charlie panicked and fired the tiny inuit bullets into Eric's crocodile peepers. The green shape was frozen. After a quick drink, Charlie stole Eric Phillips' magic carpet, and left for Seattle.

Charlie was wracked with guilt. He'd killed fifty inuits, no-one needs that. He decided to spend the rest of his life putting small hairstyles onto boots, monkey nuts, trumpets and spanners."
