Mikeblues: Usual Suspects Mafia Game

when it's obvious that on the first couple pages we discussed possible game setups.. and most agreed that 2 mafia and maybe 1 lone role would be most fair..  3 mafia would throw the game out of balance..  however with it being mike's first time to run a game, he could have done 3 with no lone role.. 
If that's the case, this is where afro has made a mistake and revealed that he knows there are 3 in teh mafia instead of 2 which is what most of us assumed..   
also note, that he instantly turned around and voted for me

This is a valid point, do you have any comeback on that Afro ?


So Laser you voted Steve once based around Wes' feelings, now he re voted Steve what has changed or are you now afriad of being the person to cause the lynch ?

Verbal/Soze is the remaining Mafia as Mr. Kobayashi was Söze's right-hand man.

and maybe Special Agent Dave Kujan who could be in a lone role

Discussion seems to discount the 3 mafia as it would be too heavily biased and the movie suggests it too. But a 4,2,1 breakdown to me seems logical to the game and fits the film.

So i think we are looking for two more people

I'm actually going to have to watch this movie again..  i can't remember a couple of the charachters that you posted there.. and i thought it was keaton who was soze and he faked his death.. haven't seen it since probably 1996 or so?...  so.. who actually is soze?  wikipedia and some other sites that i looked at this morning dont say really..

 i think there must be something wrong as miasg obviously can't read my posts...... As tch has quite clearly stated I posted that I am one of the gang he mentioned ... but miasg hasn't read this? he keeps saying I havent given a reason for voting then unvoting steve .. even though I have posted my reasons several times.
I am one of the gang stated by tch & if peeps want to know which one then I'll gladly state my characters name ..... that way you will know I am telling the truth... I've no problems with that.

the most sus players to me are afro, wes & steve ......

afro not been on to post much even though he's had time in the last week..... he hasn't claimed & as far as I know hasn't seen the film so he'd find it hard to blag a characters name.

wes hasn't hinted at a character as far as i can see & uvnoted steve even though he said he was sure he wasn't town? then votes steve again when peeps questioned him on this.

has said he will claim if another vote goes on him? I dunno he didn't quite seem his usual self earlier on?

fos afro I'd like to see what he has got to say for himself.... I,m hoping he's not evil ... but it's looking more likley?

I am town.. thats what it says on my pm from mikeblue... I guessing town are the gang brought together by verbal (Keyser Söze) I am one of the gang therefore I expect the other members of town to be the other members of gang.I mentioned that I thought kobayashi would be an evil character, which turned out to be right, I'd expect there to be another mafia player if it's soze then that player is mafia boss.
but don't know what power he has........ if he can kill then why no kills last night?  maybe they are every other night or something.

I think there could also be one other player who is a one man team....... like afro last game, don't know what character that would be maybe keaton but that's just a guess & maybe he has something like a one of kill , like like last game.

tch is probably right in his assesment about what characters he thinks are in game there are 5 in the gang & 6 players left so taking it that verbal is mafia the player who has the chracter outside the group is probably the lone role & not Keaton as I previously thought was a possibility.

Im starting to change my mind on laser.. because even with some pressure he's still around and involved.. 

wes however, has gone completely missing, along with afro.. 
both being put under the slightest of pressure, they dissappear..

TCH, you just seem to really be playing a commentary role this game.. you last big posts was helpful, i will say.. so, i went and wiki'd the movie and read the 'cliff notes' version..  and have these questions..

After reading back up on the movie a bit, what are the chances that Dave Kujan or Jack Baer plays a part in this game? they would be the ones who are really "cops" that plays a prominent role in the movie.   
I can't see a game without a cop.. and i cant see any of the characters listed by TCH, except for keaton, who could investigate..  wikipedia says this about keaton: corrupt former police officer and professional thief named Dean Keaton .. so i would assume that this role would be a "bad cop".. or one that never/sometimes returned the correct result, or something like that..  just thoughts.. 
after reading the wiki page.. i remember much more of the movie now
