I might need a little help in why some think certain characters are what (i've only ever seen the movies so I don't really know all the character names)...but that seems like a good way of going to maybe figure out what we are dealing with because like I said...I know the basic ones from the movie...but some of the names thrown out I don't know....is there an xman website like last game?

Here's my guesses of the roles we probably have in this game.. 

Rogue:  Role Blocker
Wolverine: Vigilante Killer
Xavier: Leader of the town
Storm: Low lev town
Beast: Doctor
Magneto: Leader of the Mafia
Juggernaut: Low lev maf
Mystique: Low lev maf

that's all i can come up with, there are about 500 characters on that site..   all the way back to the 50s and 60's...

Just spent ages reading up on the posts & not much there
Evryones playing there usual game (nothing suspicious there then) & the newbies are looking confused as usaul so who knows about them
the only peeps to stand out so far are

yorkshire ... for his late entrance & the usual come on don't say much except putting the fos on someone without much thinking about it.

I'm new to the game and i thought you was acting like a bully in a play ground, thats all. At the min I'm suspicious of every one as i dont know realy whats going on, so all i can do is ask questions.

I have to agree with laserblue, it will probably be a newbie that gets the rope first round, and it'll probably be a mistake just like last game..  its best for all of us if the new guys get in and post a good bit so we can make a decision based on actual suspicion and not newbiness..

yorkshire's post goes with his style of play from last game in which he turned out to be mafia.  I cant remember how he's played in other games when he's been town... but he's one to look out for..

also, mophead is playing the same as last game by posting small quips and a vote..  not much reasoning involved with that one..

bluestarsneyes is doing the "it's day one, nothing to contribute" thing... WELL DUH!!  of couse, that's why you have to get in here and get things moving... FOS Bluestarsneyes because she's well sure of how to play this game and yet still comes on with the short useless stuff... but that's how she started the last game, it wasnt until her mason friend was on the block did she step up and get involved..

really not much to go on at this point..

I do find it interesting that laserblue spent so much time reading all the posts and then posts a basic commentary post..  but again, its early , and not really a whole lot going on..

One player who's slipping under my radar a bit is SVH, and I think it's because he was evil last time around and I'm giving him a break this game, but that's just silly...  he's not playing normally, usually he's involved a good bit and posts a lot as well.. his posts have been short and erratic..  FOS SVH  (I know I put you down as good in my list, but I couldnt realistically put everyone down as evil)

Axeman, well.. he's 100% evil.. i know it..  I was wrong last time around... but I'm feeling lucky this time..  

wes.. is that the 8th or 9th time you've played the 'newbie' card?  about time you put that to rest I think...

For your information Mister Ryals....I did have something to post and something to add to the game, but mindless dribble about details from the last game is doing nothing but causing the newbies to feel confused and left out...as well as giving the evil mafia something to distract from this current game if you ask me.

I put my question to the new guy on his post and haven't got a response....I also had something to say about SVH...neither have responded...so I'm waiting....

WOW! This game is really boring on the first day. And for you people just going with the flow and trying to save your but, get out here and try to fish out the mafia. also, hasnt mikeblue been in here all day trying to fish people out?  I think you may not be reading the same game that I'm reading..   You're right about SVH & the Footynewb, but TP seems to be playing as much as anyone else..

I think it's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black here.. seeing as you post once a day or so and it's about 1 or 2 lines...  seems like you're "going with the flow and trying to save your butt"...

I would assume that chars are from the movies, although if your a follower like i have been i would be tempted to throw a few in, it just depends on how lavish the GM decides to be on roles of power...

Jean Grey Has to be the doctor surely? Why would beast be the doc? more likely a mason along with Xavier... but then again what if he decided to have xavier as the cop.. ie cerebus... who would the masons be then? Storm and Cyclops? or Grey and Cyclops?
Wolverine is the obvious choice for Vigilante...
Mophead still hasnt answered my question of why he mentioned guns? could he be the human Colonel Stryker?

anyway, the more i say names the more i get confused and bogged down... It would be good to know the possible roles of the, sadly we can only start getting a real idea when a few people die.

In fact I wouldnt be suprised if your Mystique. there is something different about you this game. I cant quite put my finger on in, but it seems different none-the-less.

SVH Always plays like this doesnt he?  He's also probably playing GTA like i have been.. boy is that addictive.  and no I'm not defending him like i did last time. I really dont have a clue who's who this time, as i'm not the cop. 

As for MasterZulu, I mentioned him in my fun list, and he cleverly sidestepped it... I dont trust you Z...

MikeBlue is hard to figure out, I really do think he is a lunatic in real life.

Well the game has started out slow and there has been little posting or one liners from the following players, which seems like the typical mafia game: AfroBoy, Masterzulu, and mophead. 

Ater reviewing the posts so far the following players seem to be playing different game styles since the last game, this could be because of a new approach from a different role or they have the same role and are trying to be percieved that they have a good role, eitherway there playing style is concerning: FOS: Happy Axeman, miasg, Yorkshire Blue, LaserBlue. Though its early days and im too confused at this stage to vote for some one so I will UNVOTE:Stevenryals as im convinced he was trying to get the game started as usual and for now and leave my vote until im convinced that player is evil.

Wow... alot has gone on since i last logged in...
unfortunately I dont have access to the internet at work... unlike MIASG, Trick Pony & TCH... maybe all you people here can put a happyaxeman petition to me employer to allow me access 

wish i could be more involved... especially seeing as im so suspicious...

whether i be a townie, mafia, or whatever other roles there are in this game... im simply just confused...

im trying to revise but GTA and this game are conspiring to royally screw my exams up!! 

anyone and everyone is suspicious on the first day, thats just what makes the first day so frustrating. All that we know so far is that everyone has their roles and those who have roles in teams such as the mafia and masons havent had the the chance to speak to each other yet (they can only speak to each other in the night) so they havent had the chance to discuss tactics that the town can look out for.

I cant see anyone defending anyone for any particular reason therefore you are all suspicious to me.

Now back to Systems Development and Design. I predict I will be on GTA by 12 and re-sitting this exam in August!
