Title: Mafia 6 - Mixed Theme Mafia - Town Victory!
Post by: Sir Villain on July 20, 2006, 11:02:45 PM: A giant black hole appeared suddenly and vanished as quickly as it had arrived. It spat out a group of people from all time and all space. They walked around and noticed how odd they all looked together. They lived in harmony on the deserted planet for a few months when one day some of them went missing. Eventually their bodies where found squashed and squished into death as if a giant hefer had stage dived on them. Suddenly thunder boomed from above. The Thunder was ominous sounding, much like the sound of a thin sheet of metal being shaken backstage during the storm scene in a play. Everyone looked around at each other scared. Their perfect lives had been shattered and everyone knew it. They sat waiting for the self appointed leader of their tribe, Michael Caine to return from one of his walks. He finally walked into the camp, his hair glistened in the rain like nose hair after a sneeze, his eyes were like two brown circles with big black dots in the centre and he was as tall as a six-foot-three-inch tree.

"Well what do you think we should do, Michael" asked someone. He looked at the ground before falling face down to the ground like a stray piece of toast from your palm. To your horror a knife is poking out of his back. The knife was as sharp as the tone used by Glenda Jackson MP in her first several points of parliamentary procedure made to Robin Cook MP, Leader of the House of Commons, in the House Judiciary Committee hearings on the suspension of Keith Vaz MP.

Stunned by this turn of events you all decide that you can not leave this area until all the evil do'ers have been rooted out and killed. It will take all the skill that you can muster but you are up to the challenge. Only time will tell whether the planet can be restored to normal and Michael Caine can be avenged.........

1. Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.

2. Please be attentive and unvote, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I?d appreciate it.

3. Lynches will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, any pleas are useless (No Matter how feeble and desperate they sound) and any unvotes will not count. If enough votes have been received and I haven't started the night you can still all post and witter on. This is referred to as Twilght period

4. You may vote: no lynch ? majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
Voting for yourself is just for show and wont actually count.

5. The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.

6. Once your death scene has been posted, you?re dead. Stop typing. I will allow a single no-content 'bah' post, but that's it.
(For Example: Manics "Boooo, Axeman is not in my Mafia" post was not allowed, but if he had said "Booooo, you tossers. Mafia will prevail" then that would have been fine)

7. Don?t edit/delete previously submitted posts. Whatever you post, stays on permanent record. This includes editing spelling or grammar mistakes. Just dont do it

8. Don?t quote any PMs from me, or attempt to fake one by me

9. If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. Failure to submit a choice will result in you taking no action.

10. If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread or PM me. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate ? don?t leave us hanging.

11. If a deadline is placed, a lynch will require a majority of the normal majority. For example, if it's 5 to lynch normally, 3 votes will suffice at the deadline. If more than one player has enough votes to be lynched at the deadline in this manner, it will be a no-lynch.

The game is starting in Day 1, but Mafia and Masons can talk to each other from now on until the new Day starts.

Is anyone not sure of their role feel free to PM me?

I'm working out of town today through Wednesday so I'll only be on a couple time per day, as opposed to my usual 40 times per day.

First you try to get a Hagler bandwaggon going, because you think that will be easy, but that didn't work.
As soon as someone other that Amadjin is mentioned, you jump in with your vote, trying to bandwaggon them.
I think you are mafia, and I also think Amadjin is mafia, therefore you were trying to protect him by puting the light
on someone else, i.e. billyman. I dont know about church, currieman, hagler or dotleo though..

Seems like a rather feeble attempt at fitting me up. But obviously we have to all make each other defend ourselves on day one to learn anything so well played.

I'm a bit baffled by some of the logic there. If i was trying to 'lighten the pressure' on amadjin, after 3 pretty non-serious votes, i'd be: a) stupid, and b) not voting for you. I'd be voting for the person who also had a few votes: dotleo. You've invented the whole pressure on church thing to try and incriminate me surely? What pressure? And this isn't me defending either of these people, i'm just querying the logic behind the list.

You and steven might be using mafia tactics to make yourself look innocent with lists and such on day one. I don't know. I don't have a role that lets me do anything or know anything other than what's on these pages.

Evil weasel hasn't posted so my vote will stay on him until he emerges.

In these games i've been: cult, bulletproof, mafia, mason. I'm genuinely nothing this time. Hammer's not that biased.

As with the start of any game I don't know who to trust at the moment but we always seem to lynch the bloody mason first anyway so then we'll know who the other one is ::)

I have to say, had it not been for me in that last game the townies would've lost so badly and all the mafia would have remained alive because the townies were so thick.
Lets not hope that there aren't that many stupid people this time around! ::)

always on the first day we normally do a random lynch. its the only way(in my eyes) to get the game going. we either strike gold or hit a brick wall. some poor bugger has to die first >:D

they are mafia - anyone who didnt vote for them is suspect because they know that their friend is lynched and the mafia wouldnt vote for their own
they are innocent - one of their votes must be made by a mafia person because it is likly that the mafia would jump on any bandwagon that started on a known innocent.

1. If there was a bandwagon that was blatantly going to end in someone dying then the mafia might not jump on it and when the townie is lynched it makes the guy that is actually mafia look innocent.
2. If there is a bandwagon on a guy that is mafia and the people that don't vote for him are immediately suspects then, yes, there are likely to be a couple of mafia in those people but some of the others might be innocent.

So we have to tread carefully after this first lynch

Watch who bandwaggons and whatnot... and then after the first random lynch, you have to look back and see exactly what happend leading up to that point, and that's the info that will tell you better who is and who isn't mafia. Day 3 is always better, and day 4 is the best. Day 1 is kinda slow and boring.

Just to all who say I am guilty and part of the Mafia just because I voted for Dotleo and not for Amdjin lets just analyse this brilliant logic.

By voting for for Dotleo it meant that he had two votes one from me and one from Currieman, if I a guilty and suspicious because I voted for Dotleo then by this logic so is Currieman.

And lets look at Amadjins voting pattern

Quigmaster votes for Amadjin and then Manic also votes for Amadjin and then Billyman votes for Amadjin.

If you use the same brilliant logic you are condemning me and Amadjin by surely you guys must be as guilty as us, 3 people all voting for Amadjin.

I swear each game people get more and more suspicious and look for patterns that are obviously not there.

Last game you all managed to convince yourselves that Carmine was guilty :laugh: :laugh:

StevenRyals crept around late under the moon, but to his surprise was shot. The gunfire awoke the majority of the Mixed Themers. A quick count yielded the info that Billyman was also gone. A trail of blood led to his tent where he was found lying face down, with a bullet having penetrated his armour. He was the Master Chief also from Halo and was the first good guy besides Michael Caine to be killed.
Disgusted by this shocking event, the group nearly don't spot Happy Axeman replaceing DotLeo.

From previous experience in game 2 i think it was, there'll be a deputy somewhere, and they could only be able to recruit once every 2 nights now that the leader's dead. From the voting pattern in the last game, i suspect the following: Quigmaster, Hagler, Currieman, Fozza and Church as being my possibles for the mafia. Obviously i don't think you all are, but from the voting pattern, you're the most likely. It's just the 3 who didn't vote for weasel, and then the two who finished off the weasel lynch. We've been fooled by the whole mafia finishing off their own lynches to make them look innocent thing. I'd add DotLeo/Happy Axeman to this, but i don't think he was present after the little random voting stage, so it might not be representative of what he'd have done in the end.

For now though, i'm going to vote fozza because his last post was either ill researched, or just a blatant lie. Either way, it's the most deserving reason for a vote so far this day.

b) Billyman was a Cult Protector, which means he's a cult doctor (turns people from cult to townies); he was a townie himself.

I have no idea what either of you two are, but my vote's still staying with fozza for persistently not making valid points to accuse someone.

But also, quigmaster should be defending himself. He added a vote pretty quickly after the second on fozza, which is harmless in itself, there was a valid enough reason to do so. But coupled with the fact that he didn't vote for the mafia member on day one; it looks a bit more suspicious.

I can't really find anything that convinces me about anyones role. I agree with axeman in that quigmaster has easily been the most suspicious, but he voted for currieman which suggests to me that he isn't the mafia person. He could be the other cult member though maybe?

Other than that, dotleo/axeman didn't vote for weasel either, but i think this is more to do with dotleo not actually being around, and axeman having not yet taken over. So that's pretty much useless.

Church has seemed pretty aggresively defensive whenever he's been mentioned. I put him in a fairly long list of candidates and he seemed to take personal offense, and fozza accused him and he did the same. But fozza's accusation was pretty baseless, so again this may be useless. He also was the last person to vote for weasel; could be innocent, but it could have been a classic case of misdirection.

And fozza has accused people for no real reasons, lied about peoples votes, and given votes to people who've even thought about mentioning his name.

None of this really incriminates anyone sufficiently enough for a lynching though. If at all. But as he has been the most suspicious, i suppose my vote's going to go to quigmaster.
