Title: Do the players still support Pellers?
Post by: Tommy Caton's Hairstylist on January 14, 2016, 03:43:28 AM
Last season to me it seemed Pellers lost the dressing room, which reflected in our poor showing, but was no other candidate he way given another extension. In a season where we should really be walking in the league we aren't even top. I still don't think the players want to play for him or the attitude is not right on the pitch.

Just wondering if it's me or do any of you feel the same ?

I just think Pellers really only knows how to play one way, and he refuses to drop players who are not performing, Yaya for example... which then leads to complacency because players know it doesn't really matter if they put a shift in or not.

I hope they are both gone in the summer.  :-X

He can be a frustrating manager, but I think his biggest problem is he actually either knows he's gone at the end of the season, or knows he has to win x/y/z or he's gone.  That's why the youth aren't coming through, that's why he's sticking with the biggest stars...  too much pressure, he can't take a risk..
